App Store screenshot sizes.
Current portrait and landscape dimensions for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro and Apple Watch, with complete display-group tables.
Apple accepts specific screenshot dimensions for each display group. Choose the app platform and orientation first, then select one of its listed sizes. The output canvas is separate from the decorative device mockup inside it.
Current App Store screenshot dimensions.
The groups below reproduce the currently uploadable sizes listed in Apple’s screenshot specifications, checked September 30, 2026. Dimensions are width × height in pixels. Expand a device family to see its portrait and landscape options.

“Not listed” means Apple does not list that orientation for the group. Do not transpose Mac, TV, Vision Pro or Watch dimensions to invent an additional accepted size. Legacy iPhone and iPad entries contain status-bar variants; use the exact listed dimensions rather than swapping their sides.
The official Apple screenshot specifications remain the source of truth. Announced devices that do not yet support asset uploads are excluded from this reference and the selectable catalog.
You do not need to upload every size.
Apple provides scaling fallbacks between some display groups. For iPhone apps, the 6.5-inch set is required when a 6.9-inch set is not supplied; supported higher-resolution screenshots can cover smaller displays. Apps that run on iPad require the 13-inch iPad group. Confirm the actual required slots for your app in App Store Connect.
Apple accepts one to ten screenshots in JPEG or PNG for a set. Review the app’s supported platforms and the current media-manager requirements before creating extra variants.
Keep the canvas and mockup independent.
ShotFleet includes 14 original device mockups across iPhone, Android, iPad and Samsung tablets, plus a frameless option. Choosing a mockup changes the frame around your source screen; choosing an output profile changes the exported file dimensions. A Samsung or iPhone panel’s native resolution is not automatically an accepted store screenshot size.
Prepare the set from real screens.
- Capture your current app with representative, anonymized content. Remove debug overlays and personal information.
- Drop multiple source screenshots into the editor and review their order. The project’s screen limit still applies.
- Choose the target output sizes and check each composition in portrait or landscape. A taller phone and a wide desktop canvas need different crops.
- Review the copy, language, device frame and source screenshot together. A translated heading does not translate the app interface underneath it.
- Export and inspect at least one actual PNG from each selected device and language. Keep the editable project for your next release.
Publishing on Android too? See the Google Play size and custom-dimension reference, which distinguishes exact assets from flexible screenshot ranges.
